Pros

Big company name, relevant product range, great office design

Cons

Though I didn't need any German language for the job and intentionally looked for International big companies only - they made all the introduction in German as I was the only not German speaking within let's say 10 ppl that day. Never had such a treat from the beginning. Later I was either praised if I achieved goal or said " u don't belong here" literally if I underachieved with obviously changing situation on the market, but noone wanted to listen. It ended with the great conversation once I planned to leave to maternity leave - they offered me to leave as probably I'm not interested to continue. 7months pregnant and they want me to give up all the support I can get only being employed? Greatly anethical. No paid teambuildings as the team was spreaded across the Europe and it would be too pricey...SAP cuts not only costs, but I guess attitude as well.

Pros

I really liked my role at SAP. After being a cloud Customer Success Manager supporting strategic clients for several years, I moved into a group doing digital customer outreach including producing newsletters, release enablement, webcasts, documentation, event registrations, etc. Salary and bonuses were good, no complaints there.

Cons

No real cons for the job that I was in, except that our group was eliminated by the corporate restructuring and reduction in workforce in North America in 2025. I would have loved to stay but unfortunately we probably showed up on a restructuring spreadsheet somewhere and it was determined that our services were no longer needed. We off-boarded most of our work to other existing employees (who already had full time jobs), which felt unfair to them, but that is how it shook out.
