I have been working at SAP full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The environment here is great. Everyone is extremely talented. The CEO Bill McDermott is inspiring to say the least. I cannot say enough good things. Their cloud products are getting better and better and customers regularly say good things. So my outlook here is also great and I'm hoping to stay here for awhile.

    Cons

Not really sure... parking costs a lot but that's it.

    Advice to Management

Make parking on the roof completely free.

I have been working at SAP full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Every day at SAP is inspiring because each and every colleague here is just brilliant.

We get to work with the best technology and the most innovative organizations to truly understand the impact that technology has on business outcomes.

    It's exhilarating!

    Cons

We could do a little better with social events but everyone is really busy so it's hard to call that a con.

    Advice to Management

    Keep on keeping on!

I have been working at SAP full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    - The offices and amenities are great! Lots to do to relax and refresh and a variety of different places to collaborate around the office - standing, sitting, lounging or playing foos.
    - Opportunity for constant learning. SAP is transforming while helping our customers transform. It's exciting to learn on the go and to share that knowledge with our customers.
    - Great perks! Lunch on Us, monthly celebrations with cake, commuter subsidies, profit-sharing programs...and more!
    - Community-minded. Lots of impact locally in the cities we operate in Canada through volunteering, sponsorships. Real heart.

    Cons

It is a big company, so there is complexity that can slow things down and be frustrating but the good far outweighs the frustration! Time zone can be an issue, but it also can be a benefit as we can finish work early if we start early.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work in putting Canada on the map inside of SAP and in our local communities. We do want to work for a company that cares and has an impact where we live.

I have been working at SAP full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They try hard to meet employee needs. Low-mid level management (in Support) is great.

    Cons

It's a massive company, with all that that means. It's reasonably easy to feel like a tiny insignificant cog in a massive machine.

    Advice to Management

Stop changing your management style every 14 months. It's like you keep reading magazines and finding the hottest thing and just ignore the last thing that you said was the best.

I worked at SAP full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Chances to learn SAP technology such as ABAP, Netweaver; Fiori, SAP S4/HANA on cloud;

    Life - work balance;

    Flexible working hour

    Cons

Chances are not equal for different employees
Process are long and tedious, some times it is wasting time and not user friendly

    Advice to Management

HR process is not clear to employee; chance for direct manager to manipulate to do bully thing to his employee he / she doesn't like

I have been working at SAP full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Benefits, Executive Senior Management, Flexible Hours

    Cons

Global Company = Make Yourself Available Around the Clock, Low Salaries in Canada, Middle Management

    Advice to Management

Improve Wages and Salaries to Match other Regions (insanely low salaries in Canada compared to other countries). Improve direction of middle management as they don't always have the same vision as Executive management.
