I have been working at SAP full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Work life balance, good physiological safety, direct managers are understanding and responsive

    Cons

Layers of bureaucracy, slow to change due to size, silos and poor communication across the entire organization

    Advice to Management

Backing open source initiatives at the board level is a good direction, but it didn't seem to come with a way to make it easier for developers to contribute

I have been working at SAP full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    -Infinite learning opportunities
-Ability to take charge of my career which is fully supported by all levels of management
-Many opportunities internally to take on a new role
-Encouraged to participate in Corporate Social Responsibility events
-Office events to keep employees engaged
    -Pay for performance culture
    -Generous vacation allocations
-Constant feedback loop with management. Management acts accordingly to constructive criticism and is interested in hearing what can be improved!

Employee surveys go out every now and then. One of the questions asked are "If you were offered a similar position at a different company with more pay, would you take it?" My answer is always No!. I have been asked by friends at other companies to work for them who entice me with a higher salary but it would take a whole lot of money for me to take the switch. Many other companies cannot offer what SAP does for their employees.

    Cons

-If you're not a top performer, it will take a very long time to move up the chain if you stay in your current position. On the other hand, it forces employees to think outside the box to try to reach for higher goals.

    Pros

    - A global company that really cares for its people and customers.
    - A wonderful place for Millennials and professionals
    - You will never get bored of your job

    Cons

    - Software is complex, but complex software is a useful software.
After all only the world's top 500 fortune companies uses SAP software.
The real world is complex, SAP software helps companies navigates their complexity in the business. SAP helps companies meets their challenges in their business.

    Advice to Management

    - Keep up the good work, I know that there is conception that people don't like change. However, young professionals like myself I welcome innovations, I like changes that have purposeful intent.
    - Bill McDermott is cool CEO. I am excited to hear about him in the news !
He is a leader who is making a great impact in the real world of business. :D
