I have been working at SAP full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

SAP is an innovative and human-centered company. The people I work with are fantastic and although the company itself is massive, the teams have more of a family vibe. Great benefits. Focus on work-life balance and care of employee's professional and personal wellbeing is at the top of the board's agenda.

    Cons

The company has placed too much emphasis on hiring early talent, which sometimes does not necessarily translate into the best talent. Also in my experience, some early talent use SAP as a boomerang to get some experience and go elsewhere after a short period of time.

    Advice to Management

I believe a good mix of early and experienced talent is really necessary to achieve better results.

I have been working at SAP full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

If you are hard working than the benefits and salary will come. For me everything was more than enough, but everybody needs to take into consideration that the amount of knowledge, work and added value you bring to the company will also increase your salary ad benefits. That being said don't stand around and complain if you are not putting in the work and having a little bit of patience. SAP is a great company from which each individual can evolve professionally, have a great work life balance and meet great people.

    Cons

Like in every company there are naysayers and people who complain about certain things, which brings an air of negativity in the work place. Maybe some internal reviews and and problem resolution seminars would help.

    Advice to Management

Try to employ the hungry guys, keep them busy, focus on their development, keep the benefits and salary above the market and you will see everything skyrocketing...think big and the sky is the limit. From a proud SAP employee

I have been working at SAP full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Excellent company product portfolio with a great outlook.
Excellent management staff, given the tools they need to manage employees properly.
    Excellent benefits.
Excellent work-life balance (encouraged by management).
Excellent work environment (many work events for holidays, celebrations, etc..)
Excellent scheduling for release and development cycles, allowing sufficient time for emergency bug fixes without requiring large amounts of overtime.

    Cons

I literally cannot think of a con working here - I absolutely love it.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work.

I have been working at SAP full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

SAP has a great program for career development, employee engagement, and e-learning

    Cons

Because SAP is a matrixed organization, you have to own your own development, and do a lot of networking - nobody is going to do it for you.

    Advice to Management

Keep encouraging employees to invest in themselves, steer them toward connecting with SAP mentors when you can.

I have been working at SAP (More than a year)

    Pros

I enjoyed the wonderful people at SAP, which I believe is a direct result of the great benefits and work life balance prevalent in every team. The global presence induces a great sense of community and opens opportunities not available elsewhere.

    Cons

The technology stack is legacy and very outdated and not very transferable to other companies.

    Advice to Management

Allow more pursuit of personal projects!
