Pros

Good pay on paper Nice manager Cafe on site

Cons

This review is mainly for any ADE’s that are thinking of joining the business soon. For context I had 18 months experience as a SDR then joined due to promised career growth and OTE increase. The few things they don’t mention to you before you join: there are basically no inbound leads, your pipeline can be affected by the deal falling through that quarter and currency exchanges. Commission is paid quarterly and at the end of the following quarter plus if you leave anytime before commission payday you will not get paid prior quarters commission. The AE’s don’t have any time for you, won’t give you accounts unless badgered. Managers to worried about what upper management will think so they don’t help you or connect you with the right people. Targets were increased twice in 6 months and you will be expected to hit 30% in month 1, 75% in month 2 then month 3 full target. Onboarding is 2 weeks of system training on stuff you’ve likely used already and NOT 1 part of onboarding is training on the actual product. Your commission is split lol 70/30 70% your contribution and 30% the close revenue won by AE’s globally, to achieve your full 30% the AE’s need to close 100% of the deals that quarter so you’ll never get that. My advice to work out realistic OTE, work out 60% of your the 30% closed revenue won, then add your 70% contribution and that’s the commission you will receive. They also say “you only need 80% pipeline to unlock your SQL’s” but then if you hit 80%, the next quarter you will need 100% to unlock SQL’s to make up the difference. Genuine terrible experience.

Pros

Pros was that you had a job (and not for long if they find a way to outsource your position in the company).

Cons

Cons are so many to list, but from the leadership in this company being so out of touch with his/her employees, the restructuring done in their company to save some bucks on their end was crazy brutal, firing all of their talented workers to implement automated programs that did not function properly. Overall, horrible experience with OpenText, lies upon lies when it came to growth opportunities and keeping teams in the dark, no communication what so ever. Their business practices were just plain terrible.
