I have been working at OpenText full-time (Less than a year)
- Pay: my pay is on par with colleagues in similar industries at a similar position
- Work/Life: in at 9, out at 5. Never have had to check an email after hours and projects are very predictable
- Perks/Benefits: pretty good, on par with the industry
- Culture/People: being a large organization, this is highly dependent on your group - i can say that my team and extended group is fantastic. People are honest, supportive, and have integrity
The work is mundane. Very repetitive projects and lack of executive direction. Strategies change on an annual basis with little time to implement.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at OpenText (Washington, DC (US)) in January-2016.
2 interviews phone and technical on site. not a very hard process to get through however, one must be prepared for technical questions. Study data structures and algorithms in your favorite knowledge. Make sure to verse yourself in behavioral questions as well. Good luck
