Insurance is though Manulife, we always pay $1 or $2 max, but we have good health conditions. Dentist is good too and vision every 2 years for adults. Education assistance is $3,000/year, wellness benefit (gym) is $320 per year. Vacation starts with 3 weeks plus 1 week company shutdown between Christmas and new year's, but some departments do not shut down (Sales, Collections, and a few others), but they can use 3 extra business days off the following year. There is a company match for RRSP - it is average not great. You are entitled to all health benefits, vacations, etc from day 1 of employment
Great package that doesn't require you to pick and choose your benefits. The flexible work from home policy is unclear and inconsistent - some teams allow you to work from home occasionally, and some teams require people to be in the office all the time.
Benefits package does not have a corp gym membership plan you can join making joining a gym expensive because you are doing this on your own.
Benefits are pretty good. There is no limit on personal days and they don't bug you for medical reports and stuff unless it is too long a leave. Vacation policy is good. Dental plan and extended medical care benefits are quite up to the mark.
Plenty of perks. 100% basic dental and 80% on crowns. $3000 towards education, 15 days vacation to start with a day added each year and shutdown between Christmas and New Years (unless you work in Finance - then you're completing the quarter), yearly gym membership reimbursement, vision care is status quo, as well as the balance of the usual benefits. And, there are other social events held at the office, such as: Oktoberfest, Annual Holiday Party, Summer Fun with food trucks and carnival-like activities
