Pros

Decent work life Balance and decent employee benefits. Lots of business growth especially on the New Business front across all distribution channel. Not heavy work load, probably good as a retirement home despite a lot of transformation ongoing. Much success on the branding and products in recent years.

Cons

Everyone from top to middle management remains politically correct and does not take tough decision including accountability. Leaders look after their personal interest over the firm's interest which eats into the company's core earnings. Massive new joiners & leavers resulting in inconsistent results being delivered which attrition leads to low morale. Poor internal progression due to politics and often a lack of succession planning. Performance management is poor nor appreciated thus most employees does not feel the need to go beyond the mile.

Pros

Great benefits and nice communication across different teams. Access to perks of a large company (HR support, benefits, PTO). Very established firm in the marketplace.

Cons

Slightly below market salaries and little room to negotiate upward, unless you change job titles. Some managers and execs can be set in their ways or choose the de-risked option, even if there are better or more efficient ways of doing things.
