Pros

I can't really say that there are many pros working at Intuit. Maybe, the best I can say is that you get to work remotely.

Cons

Here what the Cubs are working at Intuit. You are given benefits, that you pay for. Hours are not a flexible as they say they are. Your are evaluated by a metric system. Meaning you have to be in QuickBooks at all times and actually doing real work during your shift, no exceptions. So if you have to create a document, Collab w/ an associate, file documents, you still have to be working in QuickBooks so this makes your metrics a bit of a chore to keep up. Managers don't acknowledge when your are doing good work. They say they are a customer focused company but this isn't completely true. They are a money making company that's all. Also, there are changes constantly made so you never know exactly what your job is going to be. When you get used to the work your doing and have an understanding on what role you play, your role changes. The company is a software company and not an accounting firm so there are lots of shortcuts the bookkeepers have to the and when working on a customers books. So in reality, the books will never really be accurate. Who will have to take the blame for this, the company or the one doing the actual work. Answer: The Bookkeeper of course, the one doing the actual work. So if you are someone that pays attention to detail and wants to be accurate, then this isn't the job for you.

Pros

Benefits are amazing, medical insurance, vision and dental. Company match on 401K and volunteer time off.

Cons

They keep making decisions to outsource jobs to contract workers who don't share the same value in training or customer care. Oh they say they do but when you catch the listening to music so loud you can't hear the customer, or literally snoring on the line they can't do anything because of the way the contracts are set up. It is up to the contract company and the contract company just needs warm bodies. They did not even supply enough people doing our busiest season this year to co or the shifts that were required in the contract. So good luck with that. They will always eventually lay you off.
