Pros

The company values are ones you can easily get behind. It's very inclusive, always concerned with diversity, and there's a lot of opportunity for personal and work related growth. Good salaries, great benefits.

Cons

Company culture working anywhere different from Mountain View headquarters doesn't feel the same. You expect to work somewhere that feels like the same culture should be valid, but in their attempts to value geo-specific culture variations they dissolve the values of the company. It is a big company: 8000+ employees. Which means things take a long time to happen, bureaucracy wise. The very thing that makes them big, makes processes feel cast-like and if you want to be part of change it feels like you have to be in the US.

Pros

Benefits are amazing, medical insurance, vision and dental. Company match on 401K and volunteer time off.

Cons

They keep making decisions to outsource jobs to contract workers who don't share the same value in training or customer care. Oh they say they do but when you catch the listening to music so loud you can't hear the customer, or literally snoring on the line they can't do anything because of the way the contracts are set up. It is up to the contract company and the contract company just needs warm bodies. They did not even supply enough people doing our busiest season this year to co or the shifts that were required in the contract. So good luck with that. They will always eventually lay you off.
