We appreciate the review. However, there are some inaccuracies we want to address. For example, we are unsure about the reference to “fake reviews” comes from, as we have an internal policy against this to ensure that all reviews are transparent and free from conflicts of interest. Employees, current and former, as you have indicated yourself to be, are always welcome to share honest reviews about their experience. HR does not post, nor do we directly ask anyone to post something. The reviews shared by employees are done so independently and of their own volition.
You also reference “trips to Canada for new management or advisors to meet the team and assimilate” but this is also not true. While we have remote and in-office employees on both sides of the border, travel for new managers or advisors is not part of our standard onboarding program. We have successfully been connected to various teams across multiple time zones since before March 2020, and so travel is often not required.
We very much appreciate the “Advice to Management” you shared. While we do have a high, yet achievable bar set for performance, our management teams are committed to coaching and developing teams to meet their highest potential and achieve the rewards associated with hitting and exceeding set goals. We have invested in further learning and development for all our employees, including managers, and take very seriously the feedback received via our annual and monthly engagement surveys as well as from one-on-one conversations and discussions. Your note indicates that there is more to be done, which we take to heart. Thank you again for sharing that insight with us.
