Harrods has an unbelievably nasty atmosphere. If you're face doesn't fit or management don't like you, you won't last long. Unless you are prepared to completely change who you are and "suck up" to managment, you will not last. I made the mistake of being true and honest to myself, which resulted in me being miserable and failing. They also claim they have a laid back and flexible culture such as flexi time and "dressing for your day" - yet it is frowned upon to use your flexitime and if you don't dress "Harrods" enough, you will be told. Work load is too stretched with no support and stakeholders do not fully appreciate what a recruiter does - we are not there to serve them.
