Some people have been there for a long time and are adverse to change.

    I worked at Harrods full-time

    Pros

Great benefit (staff discount, staff canteen, enough supporting from management)

    Cons

Some concession managers will put themselves in good working shifts' pattern (all early shift), floor manager should monitor to make sure fair to everyone. It helps to save many good and potential employees.

I have been working at Harrods full-time

    Pros

competitive salary with good employee profit. clean, modern, fashion working environment. all staffs help each other so no one feels left behind.

    Cons

sometimes customers could be very difficult to deal with. but retail jobs are like this, you have to find a way to get over it and keep yourself in a positive attitude.

    Advice to Management

management is very good in my opinion, just some departments in the store have just been changed and rearranged so not everyone knows the new places a lot

    Pros

    The discount is good
I have met some of the best people whilst working here, most colleagues are lovely
    Looks good on CV

    Cons

So competitive with everyone trying to get their commmission
There is a lot of favouritism by managers on the floor
    There is no career progression
Regularly witnessed bullying on shop floor from management
Have never felt so under-appreciated in a job before
No work life balance due to the shift patterns

    Advice to Management

To treat your staff better and equally, almost every single one of my colleagues felt so drained and unappreciated.
To not use fear and bullying on your own staff
