Pros
There are some incredible and well respected people within the company, the relationships the teams build are incredible which is why people stay
Cons
After the horrendous news over the past few years Harrods rolled out numerous training sessions addressing multiple issues such as sexual harassment, discrimination, bullying etc. this was lived and breathed from mid management and below however this wasn’t the case for senior management and dispute numerous complaints and grievances involving HR some senior management still continued to lead with gaslighting, bullying, harassing and generally intimidation. It feels like Harrods are still keen to protect senior leaders when actually they couldn’t have been used as an example for what the company no longer stands for. It’s also a shame given it was generally male management abusing power over female colleagues. Unfortunately although I’m sure a game plan around training and educating looked good in the press once you get to a certain level nothing changes which is such a shame because many aspects of the company are fantastic
