Cons
EY Cyprus’ Talent Team has earned a troubling reputation, both internally and externally, and it’s unfortunately well-deserved. The department’s unprofessional behavior goes unchecked, fostering a toxic culture of favoritism, exclusion, and mobbing. Employees who take initiative, express ideas for improvement, or receive positive feedback are often targeted with exclusion from work communications and unfair accusations of having an "attitude"—without prior warning and with no actual incidents for them to tell you of this alleged "attitude". Shockingly, after my unjust dismissal, even those who had praised my performance went silent, underscoring the fear and lack of accountability within this team. Disturbingly, a key figure admitted that the Talent Team’s behavior is tolerated because it’s a ‘non-revenue-generating department’—a staggering justification that reflects poorly on the company’s values. EY Cyprus needs to address this systemic issue before it further damages the workplace culture and the company’s reputation.
