Pros
I worked for almost 5 years with Capital One while being based outside the U.S. During the first 2 to 3 years, it was a great experience. The work environment was respectful and positive, and I was proud to support customers. I consistently achieved high performance and received excellent customer feedback.
Cons
However, after a change in management, the situation changed. The new leadership showed no real consideration for the team. We were expected to work back-to-back with only the minimum required breaks, constantly being measured by strict performance metrics. This created an unhealthy level of pressure and began to affect our mental well-being. It was disappointing to see a company like Capital One allow this kind of treatment just because we were not located in the U.S.
