Minimum wage for all staff, including management. Managers from other companies are brought in with no knowledge of the venue, and are very discriminatory. Pay rises do not exist & only General Managers are paid a bog standard salary. Very unsociable hours, varying from at least 14 hour shifts in most venues, working at least 60-90 hours a week. 0 hour contract. No tips or service charge. HR does not exist, no way to put forward formal complaints. Head office only work 9-5 and are very slow getting back in touch with staff issues.

No training or progression. Bring in outsiders that have the training so they don’t have to pay for it. That in turn causes a hostile environment.
