      Good company to work for overall but has its downfalls

      Pros

      Easy to work for, pre-prepared resources. Admin team deals with parent contact and setting up lessons etc.

      Cons

      Started my second academic year with ClassTutor, contract was updated to pay scale decreased for all tutors.

      Lessons are pre-made slides so there's minimal lesson prep The pay was very good for the work being done

      Cons

      I applied since the job advert specifically requested a year 12/13 tutor for maths. Once I got the position, I was given year 7 classes, then removed only a few weeks later as it didn't play to my strengths. I then had several opportunities to take year 12/13 classes (some were directly sent to me) and I never even got a response from the same people who offered those classes to me. I would strongly recommend working for a company that values your skill sets and provides you with work that they promised to give to you.
