Pros

Supportive team environment. Management genuinely cared about participants and staff. Strong focus on ethical practice and doing the right thing. Clear expectations and professional standards. Staff reset days were a great way to connect with colleagues. Good workplace culture. Participant outcomes always came first. I worked here for about a year and had a really positive experience. The team was supportive, friendly, and genuinely cared about achieving the best outcomes for participants. There was a strong focus on professionalism, ethical practice, and accountability, which I think is exactly what you want in this field. Management set clear expectations and always put participants first. They were also supportive when I made the decision to move into a different career path and treated me with respect throughout the process. Reading some of the negative reviews was surprising because they don't reflect the workplace I experienced. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but from what I saw, the organisation simply expected staff to meet professional standards, act ethically, and take responsibility for their work. Those expectations were applied consistently and were always centred around providing quality support to participants. No workplace is perfect, but my experience was overwhelmingly positive. I learned a lot during my time there, worked with some great people, and would happily recommend the organisation to others.

Cons

The expectations and accountability can be challenging for some people.

Pros

Worked at 2b Inclusive for a few years and genuinely loved my time there. I won't say why I left because it'd be a strong giveaway as to who I am, but I can tell you it had very little to do with the company. I'm not even working in Behaviour Support anymore, but if I ever decided to get back into it, there'd be only one place I'd be ringing, and that's 2b Inclusive. What always stood out was how approachable everyone was. No corporate nonsense, no feeling like you're just another number on a spreadsheet. You could rock up to the office anytime, stick your head through the door, and someone would make time for you. Whether you needed advice, a debrief after a rough day, or just a yarn and a coffee, the big bosses were always welcoming. Not gonna pretend every workplace is perfect. There were a couple of people around during my time who could make things a bit ordinary, but that's life. From what I've seen, having a squiz at the website recently, they're long gone now, which is probably for the best. The thing I respected most was that the bosses genuinely cared about both participants and staff. They backed their practitioners (seriously, the boss came to a meeting with me and stood up for me), encouraged learning, and were always happy to help out when things got a bit hectic. You weren't left out in the bush to fend for yourself. I've worked for a few providers over the years and seen plenty of the good, bad and ugly in this sector. These guys are the real deal. I'm not working in the field anymore, but if I ever decided to jump back into Behaviour Support, 2b Inclusive would be the only place I'd be looking at.

Cons

A few personalities came and went over the years, but that's pretty standard anywhere. No real dramas otherwise.

Pros

2b Inclusive is one of the few organisations I have worked for where the wellbeing of both participants and staff is genuinely prioritised. Leadership is approachable, supportive, and actively seeks input from team members. Staff are regularly included in discussions and decisions, and there is a culture of collaboration rather than top-down management. The organisation is deeply committed to providing high-quality, ethical support to participants and ensuring that decisions are made in their best interests. There is a strong focus on person-centred and neuro-affirming practice, and the leadership team consistently demonstrates care and compassion for the people we support. One thing that stands out is the investment in staff wellbeing. Every 12 weeks, the organisation holds staff reset days focused on reflection, connection, self-care, and professional growth. These are meaningful experiences that go far beyond the typical workplace pizza lunch and demonstrate a genuine commitment to supporting staff both professionally and personally. There are excellent opportunities for professional development, clinical support, peer collaboration, and ongoing learning. I have always felt listened to, respected, and encouraged to contribute ideas. When I joined 2b Inclusive, I received support from experienced practitioners, opportunities to observe and learn from colleagues, ongoing supervision, and the clinical lead is ALWAYS available.

Cons

After experiencing the staff reset days, genuine leadership support, and being included in organisational decisions, my expectations of future employers have become unrealistically high.
