BL Lighting is an established architectural lighting manufacturer with 40 years in the industry and significant growth over the last five years. We offer the foundation of an established company with the energy and opportunity of a growing business. Our work includes local high-profile projects such as the PNE Amphitheatre, along with projects for clients such as Adobe, Universal Studios, and others.
We are looking for a motivated sales professional to grow relationships, develop new business, and drive profitable sales of BL Lighting’s technical lighting products. This role works closely with our team and sales reps and calls on electrical wholesalers, architects, interior designers, engineers, and related industry partners.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and grow customer relationships
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new business opportunities within assigned territories
- Generate new leads and follow up consistently on opportunities
- Visit clients regularly and manage account activity
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations tailored to client needs, including Zoom presentations, lunch-and-learns, and trade show support
- Act as a trusted advisor and product advocate to identify opportunities and drive profitable sales
- Track calls, emails, meetings, and pipeline activity in CRM and sales tools
- Work closely with BL Lighting sales reps and internal teams to move opportunities forward
Qualifications
- Proven B2B sales experience is required
- Experience in lighting, electrical, architectural, or related building products is preferred
- Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up and time management
- Comfortable learning technical products and presenting solutions clearly
- Proficient with CRM software, Google Workspace, MS Office, and Adobe
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
- Familiarity with retail or inside sales environments is an asset, along with experience in cold calling and territory sales strategies
Lighting experience is an asset, but we will also consider strong sales candidates who can learn the product, understand customer needs, and grow into the role.

Pay: $42,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
