      Seasonal Educator Interview

      Jul 14, 2013
      Anonymous employee
      Ottawa, ON
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at lululemon (Ottawa, ON) in Oct 2012

      Interview

Came by to drop off resume and was invited to an interview. Interview was held on yoga mats on the floor which was not so cool when wearing skinny jeans. Managers were looking for young, fresh and athletic people. If you have done or tried yoga, MENTION it. Also, be honest about your opinion on the product. I do not like everything in the store, but I am dedicated to their volleyball shorts. I also mentioned the community events I had participated with the company. to be honest the group interview is just to see if you can get along with others. So don't be shy but don't also cut people off. Have fun with the other interviewees and management will notice. My second interview was one-on-one and i basically just begged her to hire me (no previous retail experience). We laughed a lot and shared our common interests. I asked her about her experience working for the company as well as what she likes to do to keep fit. It was a good fit for me so i knew i was going to get the job. If you are an open, honest person who actually likes sports, sweating and yoga...your golden baby.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

During the group interview they asked if I knew what was written on the manifesto and my favourite line. I liked one of the longer deeper ones, but you can say something simple like: listen, listen, listen" or "breathe deeply" and get away with it.
