I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Yelp (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Applied online through their jobvite board and received an email from recruitment two weeks later to schedule a phone call. Phone call was standard, ask about your interests/interests in technology and they wanted to make sure you were comfortable sitting in front of a computer all day. 3 days later I got an email to schedule an in-person interview at HQ, the interview would be 2 rounds with two managers in each one + an assessment test afterwards. The whole thing took about 1hr and a half (20 minutes per round + 40 minutes for the test). Questions were standard, no hard balls. At Yelp they just want to make sure you fit into the culture and the groove of the position - that being said you should still prepare for your interview. i got the standard strengths and weaknesses question, how to deal with difficult people, etc. I was really exhausted by the time I had to take the test and couldn't think straight. I ran out of time and just wrote any old answer but I think that's what did me in. I got an email about two weeks later saying they moved on. Oh well, still a great company but that position wasn't a great fit for myself and yelp.
I applied online. I interviewed at Yelp in Jun 2022
Interview
The process was fine but what was concerning was the emphasis on not being able to have any real growth in the company. it's competitive and people sty in there role. Sole if this is for you don't expect much.
Recruiter was very friendly and responsive in all interactions. Interview process was about two weeks total. First interview was over the phone and then in person. Did not take too long to hear back about the position.

Interview
I applied online. There were 3 rounds in the hiring process. First round was Phone interview with less than 30 minutes, asked basic interview questions. Second round was that they gave the online test (around 10 questions) to test research skills. The third round was onsite interview in an hour with the team. Everyone was really nice during the hiring process.
