A recruiter contacted me via LinkedIn, and the interview process was relatively slow. The first round took place in July. It was supposed to last an hour but extended to over two hours. The interviewer was excellent and seemed genuinely impressed with me. It was a purely coding round focused on Java, and I was asked multiple questions. I left the interview feeling great, as it boosted my confidence for the next round. The interviewer even mentioned how impressed he was.
The second round was scheduled about two weeks after the first and went equally well. It lasted exactly an hour and ended on a positive note. About 10-12 days after the second round, I had my third technical round, which also went smoothly. It lasted less than an hour, and the interviewer gave an optimistic response, saying he was impressed with my proactive approach during the conversation.
After three successful rounds, I felt hopeful and excited about the opportunity. A week later, I followed up with HR to check if there was any feedback. However, I was informed that the HR representative only managed scheduling and didn’t have any updates on the feedback, advising me to email the recruiter who initially contacted me on LinkedIn.
Since then, I’ve followed up with 5-6 emails, 2-3 LinkedIn messages, and multiple calls to HR, but I still haven't received any response.
I was hoping for some clarity regarding my application status. Whether successful or not, feedback would have been incredibly helpful as I move forward in my career. The complete silence from such a reputable company has been disappointing, and being ghosted in this manner is both surprising and disheartening.
