I was contacted via email by Talent Acquisition after my CV was shortlisted. Before the hiring manager interview, I requested details about the use case questions and technical assessments typically covered, but received no response from the TA until the interview day itself.
The interview went well, and I was able to answer all questions posed. However, I suspect they may have been looking for someone with specific banking industry experience, which I don't have.
I sent a follow-up email after a few days but received no response.
The following week, I received a rejection email with no explanation. I then requested feedback on areas for improvement, but again received no reply.
I found this lack of communication disrespectful, especially from a reputable company like Visa. Candidates invest significant time preparing for interviews and deserve basic professional courtesy and constructive feedback.
