I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret in Oct 2010
Interview
I printed an application online, filled it out and handed it to a sales associated who was in the process of folding panties. Within a day or two, I got a call from the manager asking me to come in for an interview the following day. She informed me that the interview would be a group interview.
I arrived 20 minutes early and was told by one of the sales associates to browse around the store until the manager was ready for us. When the manager was ready she escorted me, along with eight other girls to the food court for the interview. It was really difficult trying to talk and hear over all the noise of people talking in the food court.
The manager asked us basic question: Why do you want to work for VS? Why should I hire you? And other situational type questions.
All in all, it wasn't difficult at all. Some girls showed up to the interview in jeans.
The interview process was honestly pretty quick and straightforward. The manager there was ready to answer the questions I had about the company and the job position at the time.

The interview process was quick and easy. It involved submitting my resume and filling out an online application before interviewing IRL. I was offered the job for holiday cashier a week later.

Interview
The interview process was pretty standard. This was before the global pandemic. It seems that at the time they were hiring based on who they liked and not our qualifications.
