I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Etobicoke, ON) in Apr 2014
Interview
I submitted my application in store and had to fill out a form. I completed the form and had an interview the same day. I had an interview in a group which lasted about 60 minutes. There were 4-5 questions that were asked to 4-5 employees and I got the job about 1 week later and accepted the offer.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you promoted additional products to a customer?
What do you think is important about being a successful sales associate?
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
