I applied in-person. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret
Interview
Looked to see if any stores were hiring, went in for job application, filled it out, handed it in, received a call back for an interview in a few weeks. Went in for the group interview, a few days later, received a letter saying I didn't get the job.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
