Online CV screening, psychometric tests, video interview followed by an assessment day.
The assessment day was a very good experience; it was composed of a group task where we had to rank Unum's values, psychometric retesting, a pricing task (this involved pricing different vehicles given a set of information and deliver a presentation explaining the method behind the pricing and how you would respond to any factors that may change the way the cars are priced) and an interview.
The interview involved answering problem solving questions, motivation behind wanting to work at Unum/Actuarial and industry knowledge. We also had the chance to have a rather nice lunch with the firm and got a tour of the office. And a goody bag, which was a nice bonus.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Unum (Dorking, England)
Interview
I applied online and the HR department contacted me. Completed some SHL tests and the I had a face to face interview at Unum's office at Dorking. The interview was quite tensed. It lasted one full hour and I was asked questions non-stop about my CV, my experience, competency based, business awareness and some more technical regarding my studies.
