I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Uber (Remote, OR) in Jun 2016
Interview
They contacted me because of the experience listed in my LinkedIn account. They asked if I'd like to do a quick interview, which went well (with an HR person), then the next week I did a 1-hour phone screen coding interview, which didn't go so well. It was my first time doing a coding interview, so now I have more of an idea of what to expect, and what concepts I need to brush up on.

Question 1
Me conte um pouco sobre você e sua trajetória profissional
I applied through university. I interviewed at Uber (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2020
Interview
It was a phone interview asking if I knew micro-services and also asked me to talk a little about my background. This role was part of Uber’s Capacity Team and it was quite difficult for the initial round.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (San Francisco, CA) in Sep 2018
Interview
The initial phone interview was with a recruiter who asked about my experience and recent projects I had worked on and they then scheduled me for a technical screening for the next week.
The screening took place over the phone with one of the senior engineers. They asked about what technologies I used and again asked about projects and what I've been up to. We then jumped into the actual interview on a shared coding platform. The first question was relatively easy. The second question ramped up in difficulty but the interviewer was very helpful. I knew at this point I probably would not be moving forward but they guided me to the solution and overall it was a very good learning experience. At the end they opened it for questions and I got to learn a lot about the work environment at Uber.
