I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at TWG (Toronto, ON) in Jun 2020
Interview
Traditional HR Screening. Lasted about 30 minutes. Asked questions about why I want to work at TWG, about my desired salary, and what technology I use in my current job as a product designer. The recruiter didn't dive into benefits, or how COVID-19 has changed their working style. I asked for feedback on why I didn't move on but didn't hear anything other than an automated email. I'd probably expect more than an automated email after we'd had a phone call, something a bit more personal would have been nice.

Question 1
If you had two job offers, what would cause you to take one over the other?
The hiring process is highly inconsiderate and they're weirdly okay with treating you as disposable for a company that claims to be inclusive and "human centered". Completed multiple rounds (recruiting screen, team chat, presentation, challenge, final meeting with C-level stakeholders) only to be sent an email that they're going with someone else. But thanks for the good vibes I guess
I applied online and was contacted by HR for a phone interview. Was pretty standard although she talked about the company more than she asked me questions. At the end, she said I would hear back about next steps within a week which is also pretty standard.
The frustrating part came after I received no follow up even after I followed up twice (within a month). I finally got a response back apologizing that she was busy hiring for another role and that she would be in contact with me in the upcoming week. Alas, once again I received no response and accepted that this was going nowhere. The same job was posted around the community during all of this, and if I wasn't what they were looking for I would have loved an upfront approach. I had a lot of respect for this company, but that's now out the door.
