I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TELUS in Dec 2020
Interview
It was very comfortable, and it was one of the best interviews that I've ever had. It felt like a conversation, and I think that was why it went so well. It was very fluid.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at TELUS (Edmonton, AB) in Jan 2013
Interview
Very common questions. very quick and straight forward. I applied online got phone call two days later. the recruiter was very helpful. I met with the HR manager and she was very friendly. The office is nice they told me I would get a feedback within a week.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at TELUS (Toronto, ON)
Interview
I have always wanted to work for Telus. After years of applying, I finally received a virtual interview request. Both interviews were good (for two different teams). I was surprised that both interviews, the hiring managers were late to the meeting and for some reason had a negative comment about me dressing up (suit and tie) for the interview. One person made a comment that I was probably in my boxers.
The hiring manager and Senior managers that were with them, we nice person people, however, asked the most random questions to really throw you into a loop and trip over your words. Just be prepared to take an extra 5 second to give your answer.
This role is an Account Executive role - hunting role, not a sales specialist.
I didn't get the offer, but I'm glad I didn't. Even though you are applying for a job and being interviewed, you must also be interviewing them. They were not able to answer 100% my questions about the role and the lack of transparency didn't give me full confidence in the team and their goals.
