I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Starbucks (Denver, CO) in Jun 2024
Interview
It was a 2-3 step process relatively smooth.
Initial call with talent acquisition and then a second call with direct manager. Last step was a third call with director / management team. Held over the phone and zoom for second and third meetings
Interview process consisted of five interviews over approximately five weeks: Recruiter, Director of Store Development, followed by three individual interviews with Store Development Managers. All interviews were conducted via Zoom. Overall, the interviews were conversational, straightforward, and well organized. The interviewers were welcoming, genuinely interested in learning about my background, and happy to answer questions about the role and Starbucks' store development process.
Communication throughout the scheduling process was quick and efficient. However, communication after the final interview was disappointing. At the time of writing this review, it has been over two weeks since my final interview, and despite following up with the recruiter twice, I have not received a response or a hiring decision. Candidates invest a significant amount of time preparing for and completing a five-interview process, so I believe proactive communication at the conclusion of the process even if it's simply to notify candidates they were not selected—would be greatly appreciated.

Question 1
How would you prioritize multiple active real estate projects with competing deadlines
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Starbucks in Dec 2019
Interview
HR phone screen. 1 in person interview with 3 rounds. First 2 are with management and third is with people in the current role. Took about 4 hours, but the interview schedule I received said it would last 2. HR was great and very thorough. In person interviews were hit or miss based on the interviewer. First manager ran out of questions to ask me (sign that he was not interested). Would've been a better use of time for everyone to interview me at once. HR called me a month later to inform me they were moving forward with another candidate.

What would your current manager say you could improve on? What are different strategies you use to stay organized? How long did it take you to be proficient in your current role?
