I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Starbucks (Atlanta, GA) in Dec 2014
Interview
Behavioral questions, training modules, one on one training and computer tests. They acquired knowledge of my working style through being a barista for a couple of months. They then asked me to apply to be a shift manager. It's a little more challenging to become a shift supervisor without the experience of being barista but not at all impossible.
It was not as bad as I thought, they asked me about my values, we talked about experiences with customers ( they are very big on treating customers right so a big emphasis on this) and time management
Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We appreciate your input and are happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the interview process here at Starbucks.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Starbucks in May 2026
Interview
Applied online, then called the store a week later, said they weren’t hiring for that position actually and then 3 weeks later got a random call for an interview. Two rounds of interviews
I applied for a position online and got a call back pretty much the next day. Interview questions are more based on your ability to tell a story than a right or wrong answer. Two rounds of interviews.
