I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Starbucks (Houston, TX) in Feb 2010
Interview
Applied online, then interviewed at the job fair the next day. Did a preliminary interview and then was asked to stay and do a formal interview with another DM, was told someone would contact me in 3 to 4 days but didn't hear anything for 2 weeks. Went for second or should I say third interview and was told I would hear something by Friday which was 3 days later, never got any call or email and still waiting. Not sure I would work for this company, very unprofessional. Every time they said they would contact within a certain time it never even came close, even when it came down to calling me to set up the second interview. A total of 4 situations with timelines promised and not one was close to the promised time. I understand DM's are busy, but when you take that much time and spend money driving to the location across a large city you would think an email or phone call to say something be it yes or no would be a bit more professional. Hours of research, drive time, rearranging schedules with others so that I can make the interview time, money on files and other interview readiness and putting other offers on hold just waiting to hear something, anything. A professional response would not be to much to expect.

I applied online. I interviewed at Starbucks in May 2026
Interview
Super easy. Applied online. A recruiter reached out for initial interview, was about 15-30 minutes. Recruiter set up second interview with DM and peer DM for the following week. After that, was interviewed by the regional.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Starbucks (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2026
Interview
Two district sanagers interviewing over Microsoft Teams. Extensive, heavy "STAR" use required in questions with follow up questions from interviewers. 5 questions for me but our interview went nearly an hour, overall friendly.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Starbucks (Concord, CA)
Interview
You first have a screen with the recruiter, and she sets up time to speak with you. If you pass that, you get sent to the DM and interview with that DM and another DM and then usually decision after that.
