Interview
I approached this as a learning opportunity, having not engaged in the process since 12 years ago. First step was on the phone screen with the HR Coordinator. She was pretty thorough in reviewing CV information. Next was a face to face interview with VP Sales. He offered much more information on the company background, culture and strategy. Having both agreed that my experience wasn't a perfect match for the immediate role, his questions were geared to finding a mutually beneficial match of my goals and working style to their environment. At the end he offered to connect me with a couple of his network contacts.
HR Phone Screen → Four Rounds of Interviews, 45min each → Team Match, multiple coffee chats with team leads (it’s mostly luck at this stage, some will get an offer right away or wait months like me)
Sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Leute, alles richtig bewertet und völlig angemessen, alles schnell und unkompliziert, nichts überflüssiges, "direct to the point" Verhalten - alles sehr gut gelaufen, Arbeitgeber total zu empfehlen

Was, wie wenn und wann gemacht, show me the numbers
Was little long but interesting. They asked many questions, and I hope I was able to address them appropriately. There were 3 interviewers, and each took their time to ask questions.
