I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at PwC (Pasig City) in Apr 2021
Interview
It comes with a 3-step process.
1.) Exam - usually, there are three exams (acctg knowledge & aptitude) BASIC ACCOUNTING KNOWLEDGE (accrual accounting, depreciation, etc) but this is a critical stage since passing them all will advance you to the interview part
I got the result the next day.
2.) Interview with the HR - this is basically all about yourself, what's written on your CV/resume and your reasoning skills. You will be asked some situational questions like when was the time you showed leadership skill so better be ready with some interesting story where you will be the star. It took us 1hr.
I received an email for the final interview after a week.
3.) Final Interview with a Senior - shorter than the first interview but more precise. They will ask your flexibility and if you're willing to go overtime. I was also asked another situational questions.
TIPS:
- do your best to the exam, basic questions but needs analysis
- show them you're confident with your answer, always smile
- since I am a Filipino, fluent English is one of the best ways to show them my communication skills
- DO NOT GET INTIMIDATED. It is normal to feel pressured especially when the HR/Senior seems so serious, just keep calm and answer with grace.
- PREPARE FOR STORIES/EXPERIENCES when you had to show your leadership skill and how you are as part of a team.
I do not have prior work experiences but PwC considers your potential and how you answer their questions as factors whether or not to hire you. They give opportunities to fresh graduates as long as you prove yourself.

Question 1
What will you do if you and your Senior have different opinions on a matter?
Very straightforward, partners & senior managers were friendly and asked expected technical questions. Key thing to stand out is to really research the company and how the grad programme works - focus on exactly what you will do in assurance, what the role would look like and also some basic accounting understanding.
online application for graduate role had initial aptitude test. I passed and did the one way digital interview which was just answering 2 questions where you record your self. Passed and went to assessment center which was a group case study and interview.
There will be 2 parts in the interview process. First is case study and second is user interview. Case study is about if you become an auditor, how will you audit the client. The user interview is basic questions like experience, where will you be in 5 years, etc.
