The application process was relatively smooth, it took several weeks though, as at any larger company. I got an interview invitation and it was only one interview round for an intern position, which was a positive surprise. I asked to have the interview half in German (personal fit part) and half in English (technical part), as I am still learning German, and the interviewers were sweet about it. I got a call back with an offer within the same week.

What do you expect to do in our department (DDV)? (Research the specifics of the department within Deal Advisory, as they all have very different focuses)
The interview process was well-structured and professional from start to finish. The interviewer created a comfortable environment and was respectful, engaging, and easy to speak with throughout the conversation. The process included both behavioral and case-study related discussions, allowing me to demonstrate my analytical thinking, communication skills, and interest in deals advisory. Overall, it was a positive experience and gave me a good understanding of the role and team culture.
