Question 1
what is the difference between type 1 and type 2 error?
I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Poly6
Interview
It was a long and time consuming process with lots of people to meet. I spent much more time talking to the team than the hiring manager. I never applied to this position, but the HR director reached out to me via LinkedIn and I rolled with it.
First was a phone screen with the GM, which they cancelled last minute the first time. After that was rearranged there was a technical interview with the hiring manager on the phone, then a 2 hour video interview some of the team. Last step was a 2 hour in-person interview at the site, which they scheduled again while the GM was out. That was a site tour, signing an NDA, meeting with more of the team, and discussion of compensation. I was asked for references the day after the last round.
They said they'd get back to me and then a week later said it was taking longer than expected because people were out. I followed up a few times, got a few responses, learned they kept me waiting to interview other people, and then they went silent.
