I had a very disappointing experience with ParkMobile's interview process. On two separate occasions, interviews were scheduled but were missed due to issues on their end, resulting in a significant waste of my time and disruption to my day. Additionally, I received an unplanned call that added to the lack of professionalism.
These scheduling problems and disorganization have led me to withdraw my application. I hope this feedback helps improve their process for future candidates.

Unprofessional Interview Process and Relocation Question
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Parkmobile USA in Dec 2024
Interview
Interview process in my opinion was great. It began with a screen call with recruiter. I was then put in touch with the hiring manager to discuss in more detail role specifics, culture fit, and validate my background was applicable to the job duties. Next I spoke with a Director level employee. This conversation was focused on culture fit and application of past work experience. The final step was a presentation. For me this was a good this was a good thing. It did take some work to prepare for but was personally confirming that I was able to deliver what the job required. All in all very good experience - communication was very clear in both next steps and timelines. This process does require effort.

Question 1
What was a situation where you provided insight or made decision that lead to actionable business impact.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Parkmobile USA in Jun 2024
Interview
I had several interviews with ParkMobile and was initially impressed by the team's kindness and the recruiter's responsiveness. However, I experienced several issues during the process. Interviews were often disrupted by late arrivals or early departures. During my in-person meeting, one leader had not reviewed my resume and was unfamiliar with the project guidelines I was given. Another leader was notably disengaged, which felt unprofessional.
Despite the recruiter’s promise of feedback after my interview, I did not receive any responses to my follow-up emails. Providing feedback to candidates who have progressed through multiple stages is a basic professional courtesy.
My takeaway is that it seemed the position was likely reserved for an internal or preferred candidate, and my participation was possibly a formality to show that external candidates were considered. Given ParkMobile's recent acquisitions, there appears to be a disconnect between its previous company culture and the new direction it’s taking. I’m concerned that this transition might lead to further organizational challenges in the near future. Proceed with caution.
