Phone interview was first - then i was asked to come in for a interview with the tasting room manager - Nathan was very pleasant and we talked about the brewery , the position and then my qualifications - we went thru the previous employers and my references

It was very informal. The manager at the time was very nice. We just chatted about beer and my experience in brewing.
The manager made me aware of the tough situation at Old Abbey Ales. Namely that ownership was challenging to work with (the manager is now working at different brewery). I initially thought it was maybe too casual, but I appreciated him telling me in hindsight.
