I applied at Nordstrom's online and was contacted maybe a week after. I opted to do the phone interview right then and there, it took about five minutes and was really easy. I set up a one on one interview the following week. The interview ran smoothly. They asked questions like "what do you like about commission?" and "tell me a time...". I ended up getting the job.

Interview was great, staff seemed supportive and like it was a positive environment. Important to have an interest in fashion and helping the customer find what they need. Very important to get repeat customers and continue having a book of business.

one way interview with around 20-30 questions. mainly behavioural and some background on your education and past experiences. Took around 30-40 minutes and you have to prepare for each question.

They said they'd get back in 2 weeks but 3 weeks later, it was announced that they're leaving canada.
