I found the job posting on Seattlejobs.com and applied online without any referrals. First, there was a phone screening with the recruiter in HR. Then, there was a phone interview with the hiring manager. Third, there was an in-person interview with the recruiter, hiring manager, manager one level up and a person on the team for that position. Finally, there was an offer extended from HR. I thought each interview went poorly with the hiring manager because she did most of the talking and I didn't feel like we had established rapport. Therefore, I was shocked when I kept getting called back for additional interviews.
