      Account Executive Interview

      Dec 13, 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Prior Lake, MN
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at NOREX (Prior Lake, MN) in Oct 2014

      Interview

Interviewed with management in span of a few months. The process was slow and cumbersome indicating that this team either can't make decision or they simply don't need to hire someone quickly. Simply no sense of urgency. Interesting that they had a handwriting analysis from a lady in Florida. There's no indication of any formal training, and the fact that one had to learn on the job, which presents a challenge for a new person as they are taught or shadowed various people in the first few months and each one has their own different method of doing a task differently.

      Question 1

Generic questions. Being able to sale yourself is important as it is a sales position.

      Account Executive Interview

      Anonymous employee
      Prior Lake, MN
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NOREX (Prior Lake, MN) in Jun 2017

      Interview

Somewhat traditional interview approach. I met with multiple members of management and one sales associate. Management was very nice, helpful, and clearly looking for someone who fits the culture. Some of the interview processes felt a bit dated, but nothing major. One thing that stood out is their desire to maintain the founder's values while embracing the need to be current and relevant.

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at NOREX (Prior Lake, MN)

      Interview

Attended an open house, and then had interviews with all of senior management. They will intentionally not call you back to see how persistent you are in getting a hold of them. Also had to complete an online sales assessment as well as a handwriting analysis. Very old school, and somewhat quirky interview process and methodology.
