I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Microsoft in Mar 2022
Interview
I applied to one position but got contacted by a recruiter saying that that position was on hold and that I should apply to another one, and the recruiter provided the job link. After I applied they asked to provide my availability to have a 30mins interview with the hiring manager. After interviewing with the hiring manager they asked to provide additional availability to interview with other members of the team and I provided a few weeks out. Then they said if I can interview in the current week as they have a tight turnaround, so I moved several things around and interviewed. After interviewing I did not hear back for over 3 weeks, and after contacting the recruiter several times I finally got a generic email saying I wasn't selected.

Question 1

I only got my resume selected and reached to a Hiring manager round, never heard back from them afterwards. Mostly focus on big data tech stack. Later there were supposed to be 3 more rounds
I applied online. I interviewed at Microsoft (Prague)
Interview
The interview process consisted of 6 rounds, technical part was pretty difficult (to me) because I lacked knowledge in the given domain, but overall the people I spoke with were nice.
However, when I eventually reached the final round, instead of a personal follow-up from HR I got an automatic email saying that they proceeded with another candidate. And I would get it if I was filtered out at the beginning, but not after the final round of interviews.
