I talked to Microsoft at a job fair held at my college and discussed the projects I have been working on in my spare time and my experience. I received an email about a week later and had an in person interview within two weeks. The interview was a mix between technical and personal questions. I felt that the interviewer really wanted to get a feel for who I was, how I thought and how I solved problems. I didn't feel that a correct answer was what was being sought during the interview but instead the goal was to see that I could communicate my thoughts in a coherent fashion.
