The engineer that I interviewed with and the hiring manager were both very nice and conducted a short but comprehensive interview. However, communication w/ candidate was the worst I have seen so far from any past experience. I asked questions via email before interviews and afterwards, but no replies. Most importantly, they did not inform me about my decisions after I got rejected. If you had an interview with the hiring manager, informing the candidate about the decision should be a bare minimum. Not a competitive salary, and they will definitely not attract talent by treating candidates this way when the market gets better.
