I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn in Dec 2022
Interview
Linkedin has a very long interview process, involving a mock discovery call, and a couple presentations/demos as well. The recruiters are very laid back with you throughout and they will be responsive until they've made a decision, upon which they WILL ghost you if you are not selected.
I've interviewed with Linkedin twice, and I've been ghosted by the hiring managers as well as the recruiters twice. My second experience interviewing with the company left me baffled because the hiring manager did not even show up to our scheduled interview that I had planned my entire day around, and it's been several days that I still have not even received an apology for the no-show or a request for it to be rescheduled - so i'm assuming I got cut from the process and haven't been told why.
The first interview process took a month, where I had amazing convos with the recruiter & hiring managers. I received amazing feedback after the first presentation assignment and moved onto the next round which was another presentation + mock discovery call with another 2 managers. After putting hours into the prep, I gave an exceptional interview where I received amazing feedback and was told that I was clearly very prepared, came with a lot of experience and was very knowledgeable about their sales solutions. I'd be hearing back by the next day. Welp - 3 weeks went by and radio silence, even after my multiple follow ups.
Not being selected is completely fine, but being ghosted after putting so much effort and time into a long interview process is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I've never experienced such unprofessionalism from any other organization as I have with Linkedin in my entire career.

I applied online. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Toronto, ON)
Interview
Spoke to recruiter and hiring manager. Followed up multiple times with recruiter but never responded. Saw on LinkedIn that a new person got the job, and that's how I found out the job opening was filled.
I applied online. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Dublin, Dublin) in Jan 2026
Interview
The process went very well - I applied through LinkedIn and after 10 min I already received an email to schedule the screening call. I had 3 interviews in total: Screening, hiring manager, and panel (mock call).
From the recruiter to the panel, all the people I interviewed with were absolutely amazing! I had such a great experience.
If you are have experience in such role, passing the interviews wouldn't be hard, just need to practice properly.
