      Service Delivery Manager Interview

      Jul 24, 2025
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LeadingIT in Jul 2025

      Interview

I didn't find much information about this company's interview practices for higher-level positions, so I wanted to share my experience. Based on other reviews I read, the first step in the interview process is quite standard, regardless of the role: a one-way interview. During this initial interview, you answer some basic housekeeping questions to gauge your passion and provide a brief glimpse of who you are as a candidate. There are typically 10 questions, most lasting about 3 minutes, and you have unlimited opportunities for retakes. Once your submission is reviewed by the hiring team, you are paired with your direct manager for a virtual interview; in my case, that was Jayson. This interview lasts between 30 to 60 minutes and focuses on more challenging questions about your specific experience in the managed services provider (MSP) field, as well as your current achievements. Growth is also discussed, specifically where you envision yourself in the next five years. The final round of questions delves into your leadership style, how you address struggling employees, and ways to keep your team motivated. Next, I had a 15-minute quick chat with the President of the company. This conversation was primarily about whether you would be a good cultural fit for a management position. It was a casual and rewarding experience to have a one-on-one discussion with the President. My final interview was with Jayson and the Level 1 and Level 2 team leads. Most of the questions focused on your leadership approach, areas for improvement, methods for dealing with struggling employees, and your strategies for increasing employee satisfaction and reducing turnover. The entire interview process was virtual, consisting of four interviews over the course of two weeks. I received an offer for the position within hours of my final interview.
