I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Pleasanton, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
Fairly straight forward process that moves fairly slow. First a brief conversation with staffing agency followed by a detailed phone conversation and culminating with a final interview. Started out as a critical immediate requirement, however the start date kept getting pushed for one reason or another. I started nine weeks later than the original proposed start date.

Question 1
Mostly Q&A on background and project experience. Hiring manager very tactical in focus.

Interview
Initial contact via linkedin. First phone interview with initial recruiter was mostly a basic review of my resume and experience as it related to the position. Second phone interview was with a technical expert and focused on my specific skills related to the position. Face-to-face interviews the following week. Group interview to more further understand my technical skills/experience/capabilities. Final one on one interview with direct supervisor followed group interview and was quick.
Everything was straightforward and smooth.

Question 1
Most questions were not difficult since my skills and experience were quite a good fit with the position. A hypothetical technical problem was probably the most difficult question, but nothing overly troubling.
