The latest conversations about Healthcare
I see so many stories online about people in healthcare who have "compassion exhaustion" from caring too much all the time. Some end up turning to self harm or unhealthy behavior to cope. What do you do to provide excellent care for others, but also care for yourself?
When do you fit in exercise into your day? I'm trying to do better and that is easy to do on days off but when working I'm just not sure what is best. Do those that workout before work still find the energy to complete the day? I thought I could fit working out somehow during my lunch break, since I'll have an hour?

Alberta Health Services Reviews
I was hired externally for a Temp Full-Time position that turned into a permanent one after a year. Had a lovely interview, although some questions were tough but definitely relevant. Notified during the interview that I was definitely being considered for the position. Great work environment with comradery among staff. Benefits and guaranteed pay increases are definitely a pro, along with pension and being a part of a union. AHS values positive workplace relationships among staff.
Medical benefits could be a bit better.

I applied online. I interviewed at Alberta Health Services (Canada)
InterviewInterview was ok it was a phone interview with 2 people who asked me a lot scenario based questions. I later came to find out a big reason why I did not get the postion was due to both parties not coming prepared and not properly reading my resume and thinking that I had not worked in a place in 2 years despite my resume which they had only showing a few months. Looking through other reviews on here it seems this a common issue which is shocking to see and quite sad that a big organization allows this level of disrespect to happen.Interview
