I applied online. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan (Plano, TX) in Nov 2024
Interview
I had three rounds, two technical and one with the hiring manager.
The first one was about code review and how to improve the code.
The second was like leetcode but in person and on a whiteboard.
The final one was with the hiring manager about providing technical communication of your experience from your resume

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at J.P. Morgan (Bengaluru) in May 2025
Interview
I have attended for an interview at JP Morgan for the post of Software Engineer II .NET. I have cleared all the technical rounds and attended the behavioral round with executive director too. I went through all the interview rounds, including the final HR discussion where compensation and joining timelines were discussed and agreed. Everything seemed positive, and I was expecting an offer.
However, I was surprised to receive a rejection email next day stating they were moving forward with other candidates. While I understand hiring decisions can change, clear and transparent communication would have been appreciated, especially after reaching the final stage.
Candidates invest their time and effort, and a little more clarity or feedback would go a long way in maintaining trust and respect. I hope the company works on improving its candidate experience, especially at the final stages.
