I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Intuit (San Diego, CA) in Sep 2020
Interview
I was referred and contacted almost immediately by a recruiter. Had an initial phone call and was told my resume would be passed on to the hiring manager and I would hear back within a day or two. It's now been weeks and I've sent a few follow-ups and have never heard anything back from them. Very unprofessional to not even respond with any sort of updates.
I'm especially frustrated because the recruiter had to reschedule our initial phone call after I had already set aside time. Then I needed to set aside time on a different day. The least that could occur is a courtesy of we're sorry you didn't make the cut, the position is closed, something. But to completely blow off a candidate who worked around the recruiters schedule is very unprofessional.
I have always looked so highly at the company and know multiple people who work there and express how much they like the company, and now my view has completely changed. Don't waste your time applying because you aren't going to get anywhere.
